Kids At Play- Snapshots

This is a rare moment where I'm actually going to share some of my snapshots. In all honesty I really need to get better at actually taking snapshots but I'm working on it. It always seems like more trouble than it's worth to drag my camera out and about. Obviously it's not some point and shoot I can shove in my back pocket. It's a pain in the butt and I can't say that I have a real user friendly bag. It's big and protective so it serves it's purpose but it's definitely not practical for everyday. Besides, I'd rather actually enjoy all the moments rather than miss them because I'm too busy trying to capture them.

That said, I do love to capture moments. So even if it's just my own kids playing outside or we're on an afternoon adventure I'm trying to bring my camera out more. Who says there isn't time to enjoy the moments and capture them at the same time?

We all know I love photographing children. That is definitely my strength. It's the one area that intrigues me the most. There is just something about the innocence of a child that captivates me.

But I love to photograph other things as well. I have an interest in flowers, old buildings, landscapes, animals, and many other things. I don't often have a lot of free time as it is but when I do my camera is the first thing I'll go to. I rarely go a day without taking at least one shot!

After this I have just one more set I'd like to share and then I'll be all caught up on recent favorites! Then I will try my hardest to post every few days at the least. I really want to try to start posting more of my work. I'm always sharing my portraits because that's what I do best but that isn't the only thing I shoot!

I know, I know, it's been so long since I've updated! Things have been so insanely busy that it's hard to keep up with posting. I promise I won't let it happen again. Well, I'll try not to anyway. For the time being here is a massive update of recent work. Some of it is portfolio building subjects, the rest are family and friends!
