Memorial Day Picnic!

I had my first session with a large group on Monday. It was awesome! Since I'm usually shooting little ones or smaller families I wasn't sure if this would be my "thing" or not. It was a refreshing change from what I'm used to and I had a blast working with the family. They were all very nice and all in all it was a wonderful session and a great way to spend the holiday. Quite a few gave their own ideas and it was neat to have different perspectives and opinions. The grandkids came up with the merry-go-round idea which ended with a great shot of all of them.

3 Year Old

I had a ton of fun doing this impromptu shoot with an almost 3 year old. These are all vintage enhancements.

3 Month Portraits

I got the chance to work with a wonderful family today. They have a beautiful 3 month old daughter who was just so sweet. I had a blast working with her, and got a ton of great shots!

Children's Portraits

Children's portraits are definitely my best area. I love to interact with children so adding that love to photography is very helpful when it comes to portraits. If a child cannot feel at ease around his/her photographer, their personality won't be captured as well. I tend to stay away from too many props but I have many that are available for use, including tutus, hats, bows, and much more. I prefer each child to be the main focus of the shot!
